Massive public betas: there's not much point running them if your game isn't broken in a number of difficult-to-anticipate ways. The Battlefield 3 beta's hiccups are all part of the wondrous mystery that is game development, and we're sure EA and DICE will have the lion's share ironed flat by the time the finished game hits stores next month.
