The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Goddess Cube guide

From: www.gamesradar.com

Throughout your journey in Skyward Sword, Link will come across numerous large metallic blocks that are known as “Goddess Cubes.” These blocks are scattered throughout the various lands, and when encountered, Link can give them a Skyward strike with his sword. When he does, the cubes will transform into beams of light that will then allow a treasure chest to become available throughout the skies.  Some of the cubes can be a little tricky to nab and some will require a little back tracking after you have acquired the appropriate item to access its location.  Below we have listed the location for each of the 26 Goddess Cubes, as well as what will be unlocked when you decide to go forth and claim your prizes. Happy hunting...

How to get into PC gaming

From: www.gamesradar.com

This article exists because recently I’ve seen a lot of comments, in our other articles about PC games, saying things like “I’d love to play this game but my PC sucks.& My hope is to help people make PC gaming a reality rather than a wish. It’s really not as great a barrier as it seems, and while yes, there are a number of pains-in-the-ass about PC gaming, my argument is that the end result is worth it. If you’re an “I just want to stick the disc in and play& person, there may be no hope for you in this department, but if you have even a tiny bit of “I like to tinker& in you, then PC gaming may just be very right for you. I’m a hardcore PC gamer, but not a snob I own all three consoles, and until about ten years ago I was actually a console snob I had no interest in PC gaming. It was Warcraft III that convinced me to buy a gaming PC, because I realized certain experiences can only be found on the PC. But there are plenty of other arguments for getting into PC gaming…

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time gold skulltula locations guide

From: www.gamesradar.com

In addition to bottles, boomerangs and bombs aplenty, Hyrule also hides 100 gold spider/skull hybrids for Link to collect. Each one you obtain goes towards a reward back at the House of Skulltula in Kakariko Village. The gifts are nice, but if you need a more magnanimous reason to hunt these things down, each one helps lift a curse laid upon a horrifically disfigured family…

Along the way, you’ll rescue several construction workers, each of whom is protected by a sword-wielding Gerudo. Once you’ve befriended these thieves, you’ll have to enter their training ground and acquire the Ice Arrows...

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time dungeon walkthrough and item guide

19.06.2011 18:00   6 views   0 comments
From: www.gamesradar.com

Now that Ocarina of Time is available on the 3DS, one of Nintendo's greatest adventures is now accessible across four different platforms - the N64 original, a GameCube promotional disc, the Wii's Virtual Console and, obviously, the 3DS. Luckily, each of these contain the exact same game, so one guide fits all. As with all Zelda games, the meat of the game lies within each of the nine dungeons; each presents its own ideas and challenges, with some more devious than others. To that end, we offer video walkthroughs for all nine dungeons, from the Deku Tree to the final showdown with Ganon.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time heart piece locations guide

10.06.2011 18:05   3 views   0 comments
From: www.gamesradar.com

Saving Hyrule from certain destruction is a demanding task, one that often saps all your existing heart containers of their life-giving energy. For a better chance at victory, you’d better collect as many heart pieces as possible for every four you find, you gain one extra heart container.

Lucky for us, the 3DS version is nearly identical to the N64 and GameCube versions that came before it, so all existing heart locations carry over into the brand new release. They’re worth seeking out right from the start, too, as it’s possible to obtain quite a few before changing into adult Link.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Water Temple walkthrough

From: www.gamesradar.com

Ah yes, this thing. While the 3DS version may add a few things to lessen the evil that is the Water Temple, the N64 / GC / Virtual Console versions are as murky and misleading as ever. The basic premise is to lower and raise the water level by playing Zelda’s Lullaby at one of three specified locations. Some areas can only be accessed with the water at max height, others with it in the middle and other still only when the water is at its lowest point. Not a bad idea for a puzzle-based dungeon, but the sheer amount of equipping and un-equipping the Iron Boots (obtained in the Ice Cave in the frozen Zora’s Fountain) sucks all the fun out of it...

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Deku Tree walkthrough

10.06.2011 18:04   3 views   0 comments
From: www.gamesradar.com

The path to the first dungeon is entirely straightforward. Village idiot Mido will demand you equip a sword and shield before visiting the Great Deku Tree, which is easily done; The Kokiri Sword is located in a maze on top of a hill in the village (you can see it in the lower left side of the village map) and the Deku Shield is available in the shop for 40 Rupees. Scour the village for cash, equip both items, talk to Mido and then enter the Great Deku tree...

Does it live up to the original? Heck no that was impossible. It is a damn fine, “serious& shooter on the Wii, and that’s saying something. Even without the limited options for mature action for Wii owners, GoldenEye 007 is a solid game in its own right. If nostalgia is still tingling strong or you’re hankering for a real, guns-blazing and sneaky-assassinating experience, you won’t go wrong here.

Expanding on the original’s brilliance, this ingenious platformer only gets better by embracing the Wii’s limited capabilities and adds so many ideas, big and small, that we can’t help but love it. Even if you (mistakenly) believe it’s too similar to the first game, what’s wrong with more of an incredibly great thing?
