The Wii version of this film tie-in boasts a comic-like look and on-foot combat that blends melee combos and God powers, as well as shooter-like flying sequences that break up the action.

De Blob 2 continues the charming, infectious mood of the original game, but unfortunately doesn't really expand on the core ideas or provide enough of a challenge.

The biggest lesson to be learned from this disenchanted title: if you're going to make a game with ninjas and dragons, it better be larger than a mountain and a couple of rock textures.

While the visuals are stuck in the mud, the action on the pitch is splendid and the new, innovative, and shockingly deep controls are tremendous. Just be prepared to spend a lot of time figuring them out, getting your butt handed to you along the way.

Conduit 2 offers up perhaps the most robust online suite for a Wii shooter, but while the multiplayer offerings impress, the turgid storyline and quips further sink a meandering campaign.

Even some amusing dogfights can’t save laughably bad graphics, sloppy design, and a story so embarrassing that if Tom Clancy ever found out about it, he’d probably drop his name from the series altogether. Don’t expect this game to be anything like its 360/PS3 cousins; this game is uniquely lousy.

One of the very best Wii FPSes available, even if that's not saying much. It's a solid shooter with some glitches and presentation problems left over from the porting process. Audio problems can make it tough to follow the story and the graphics look 5-6 years old.

How did it get shipped without an option to use buttons for the most common move in the game? Does everyone at Ubisoft have wrists like melons? We’ll never know, but know this: seriously dude, wait for the sequel, or if you can, go for the PS3 or 360 versions.

Play as a boy's shadow as he attempts to climb around and up a mystical tower in this artsy-looking platform-adventure. Along the way, you must solve mysteries, puzzles and fight off enemies that try to impede the boy’s progress. Lost in Shadow comes together to form a unique package and is often inspired in its complex play of light and shadow. It’s a fun game that sometimes frustrates, but also really works your brain’s capacity for spatial awareness.

Aragorn’s Quest does offer a reasonably handsome romp through the film’s locales. And despite its spotty, breathless retelling, it manages to re-create some of the story’s sense of wonder in the scale of its set-pieces. Nonetheless, the mindless mashing that fills most of the game’s hours means this is far from fit for a king.

Does it live up to the original? Heck no that was impossible. It is a damn fine, “serious& shooter on the Wii, and that’s saying something. Even without the limited options for mature action for Wii owners, GoldenEye 007 is a solid game in its own right. If nostalgia is still tingling strong or you’re hankering for a real, guns-blazing and sneaky-assassinating experience, you won’t go wrong here.
